Islamic art is a huge filed of study and it is still considered a new area to research. Since this is a podcast about contemporary practice informed by traditional art, I wanted to discuss the traditional art I practice and study first, which is Islamic art. In this episode, I will share some of my research with you about what really is Islamic art and the terms that are used.
