As the world temperature rises and scientists warn of irreversible damage and horrible consequences, a lot of people believe that degrowth is the only way to avoid a catastrophe and provide a better life to the population. Instead of GDP growth, we should be discussing how to shrink production and consumption and save the planet. The Degrowth movement wants to redefine the system with different targets and reshape the world as we know it. But does it make sense?
