Déjà vu

Today’s episode titled Déjà vu (a feeling of having already experienced the present situation) is all about Michael Crichton’s original full feature film ‘Westworld’ which HBO’s series ‘Westworld’ is based off of.  We touch base on the similarities and differences between the two. But before that, let’s get into what’s new on the ranch.

Defining: Déjà vu

Déjà Vu is a common intuitive experience that has happened to many of us. The expression is derived from the French, meaning “already seen.” When it occurs, it seems to spark our memory of a place we have already been, a person we have already seen, or an act we have already done. It is a signal to pay special attention to what is taking place, perhaps to receive a specific lesson in a certain area or complete what is not yet finished.


Westworld (1973) The Full Feature Film

In a near future, the Delos Company offers the vacation of the future in in the amusement parks Medieval World, Romanworld and Westworld for U$ 1,000 per day.

The vacationers get to experience life in the themed period, doing whatever he or she wants, interacting with the robot inhabitant
