Women can learn a lot about the vocation of motherhood from contemplative nuns. Whether a woman's vocation is to be a mother in the context of married life or the spiritual motherhood of religious life, both vocations have Our Lady as their source and inspiration.
Both vocations involve a life of sacrifice and humility.
Dr. Mary Cuff, author of Mother to Mother, shares how this book came about on today's episode. Her book introduces all moms to contemplative nuns who offer their insight into the common struggles of motherhood.
Through a question-and-answer format, these nuns from various monasteries give wisdom gained from their cloisters and offer it to mothers who are present in the domestic Church.

This is Part 2 of my summer of pilgrimages! In this episode, we continue our pilgrimage journey into Spain and France.
What started in Portugal led us to the awe-inspiring Coimbra University, the hallowed Cathedral of Saint James, and the breathtaking Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes.
Through heartfelt experiences and historical revelations, we encountered the profound spirituality and miraculous events surrounding these sacred sites.

It was a summer of pilgrimages! It began with an International Marian Shrine Pilgrimage and ended with a national pilgrimage for the Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis, Indiana.
On the Pilgrimage of Hope, through Portugal, Spain, and France, our Catholic faith and sense of history were deepened as we studied the apparitions of the Blessed Mother and the footsteps of the Apostles and Saints.
We prayed, fasted, and wept at many tombs of great Saints. This is part 1 of a 2-part series, as there is so much I want to share with you about my experience on these pilgrimages.

This episode is a recording of my interview on the Mamas in Spirit Podcast with Lindy Wynne. We talked about my journey from dieting to prayer and fasting and how I discovered the art of Delay and Pray™.
Lindy's podcast is a retreat-style podcast and she gets very personal with her questioning so that we can enter into the sacred space of mission where Jesus feeds us with His love.
I hope you find it interesting and inspiring so that you, too, can shift from vanity to sanctity - from the diet mentality to spiritual fasting and the art of Delay and Pray™.

Today I sit down with an amazing guest who is world famous and I feel like I have known all my life through his music.
John Michael Talbot is a Catholic author, musician, and the founder of Brothers and Sisters of Charity. His new book and album, Late Have I Loved You are magnificent pieces of art.
In this conversation, you will not only hear his story but also my story of how he so beautifully held me up with his music during a very difficult time in my life.
In this era of doing, doing, doing, his journey is worth hearing because he shares how contemplation with Jesus is the most important thing you could ever do.

This episode is going to be a little different as we just experienced the opening ceremony of the Olympics in France last weekend, where some of the opening scenes were outright immoral, confusing, and mocked the Catholic faith in several ways.
I felt called to create a response on my podcast on this subject because there is such a need for prayer and fasting now for justice and reparation for what happened.
We can see the culture sinking deeply into vice – a place that is very immoral and dangerous for the soul as well as the body.
In the Delay and Pray™ program, we talk quite a bit about virtues and vices, and it seems as if the world has no idea what a virtue or a vice is.
It really is time for Catholics to stand up for moral, beautiful, soulful, and pure entertainment for our families.
