Deleting Files...A Must Read

This was an amazing read. I could not put the book down until the very last word was read! The writer writes in such a way that you are drawn into the story as if you were one of the characters. It is written in a language very easy to understand, and makes it very easy to identify with the story. I highly recommend this book to everyone!

This book is amazing, the title is so creative because it kind of throws readers off of the focus of the main purpose of the book. It is written with so much truth and reality that it almost brought me to tears. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

I read it on a plane and didnt fall to sleep :)

I have been meaning to come by and leave a review. I finished up the book a couple weeks ago while flying. I was really drawn into the storyline after I found out that the story was based on a true story. I realize molestation happens and its a horrible reality. I am thankful people like Miss Doll are bringing these stories to light. I pray that this book get shared in the community and raises awareness in regards to this unfortunate situation.

For people who are concerned about the family relationships, and the issues we all face at home or socially Deleting Files is very helpful. After finishing this book I was deeply moved by the recall of people, and several issues of my past. The characters in the book are classic types found in many of our families, and among some friends. The revelations about past experiences really refreshed an alarm that today's culture has all but silenced. Wake up everybody...

I recently enjoyed reading two books written by my friend Yvetta Franklin, THE CODE SWITCH, and DELETING FILES. "The Code Switch" would be great in the classroom as it gives lessons on when it is okay to use slang and when standard English should be used. "Deleting Files" brings out truths that in my younger days were covered up. Everything used to be under cover and out of the public eye, and not to be brought out as it is now days. Her descriptions of the characters and places in the book enables the reader to see the story in their minds eye. These are books that you and your child should read together.
