Deliverance occurs in the Old Testament and has two meanings.The first is to give over into possession or power of another.  The second refers to the Acts of God whereby he rescues his people from danger. However, how can one go about  being able to be delivered from themself. Often it appears that many individuals become their own worst enemy. They may find it difficult to get out of their own way causing harm to self as well as others.
