There is a growing trend toward eating healthy foods. Finding meals when on special diets, such as those who have diabetes, it can be a difficult process.
Joe Martinez had a solution. He is the President, Founder, and Chief Commercial Officer of Healthy Meals Supreme. In 1996 Joe was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and had trouble finding convenient and healthy meals that satisfied his dietary needs. As Joe began to make his own meals, people around him began to take notice of their quality and asked if he would make and sell them.
And so Healthy Meals Supreme was born.
In this episode, G. Steven Cleere is joined by Joe Martinez to talk about his diabetes diagnosis, the types of diets common today, and the process behind making Healthy Meals Supreme.
