Can a $599 Windows laptop actually make you forget the MacBook?
Dell just launched the new XPS 13 for students, and it is taking direct shots at Apple's budget MacBook Neo. For the exact same price, Dell is giving you double the storage at 512 gigabytes. Plus, you get a super smooth 120Hz touchscreen, a backlit keyboard, and facial recognition. Apple stripped all of those out of the base Neo to save a buck!
The XPS is even half a pound lighter and promises up to 17 hours of battery life. Sure, Dell only offers it in two boring shades of gray compared to Apple's gorgeous colors. But on paper, Dell is offering way more bang for your buck.
So, are you sticking with Apple's ecosystem, or is Dell's value play too good to ignore?
