The Delta Discipleship Path is a way to mark a healthy journey with the Lord. It is clear through the Bible that we are called to be disciples and make disciples. That is the core of Delta.
The letter in the center of the diagram above is the lower case Greek letter "delta." It provides the visual reference points for the spiritual journey of discipleship.
Disciple = follower of Jesus. It's really not a fancy word; it is just an identifier of someone who decides to follow Jesus' ways, teachings and lifestyle.
A person enters into a relationship with Jesus through His grace by their faith. This is the beginning of being a disciple. The rest of life with Jesus can be summed up in three steps of being a disciple: Love, Grow, Serve.

A person enters into a relationship with the Lord and engages in becoming a disciple. This leg of the journey involves a complete cycle through Loving, Growing, and Serving. Then, at the beginning of the next cycle, the call is for that person to initiate a relationship with another disciple and walk with them along the path of discipleship through Loving, Growing, and Serving. Then, each of them joins with another on the next cycle. Around and around the path of discipleship goes to complete a lifetime of a genuine disciple of Jesus making other disciples as he or she lives life. This is what Jesus referred to in what we call The Great Commission: Matthew 28:18-20.
