Heavy rain has put life on hold in several parts of North India today. National highways are blocked due to landslides in Himachal and J&K, roads are waterlogged in Delhi-NCR, Mohali, Chandigarh. This once again has put the focus back on the crumbling infrastructure and lack of planning.
