Having a permanent and meaningful relationship with God helps us notice and interpret the road signs on our spiritual journey. Otherwise, we demand more and more signs from heaven, like the Pharisees of the old. Formalism, pride, and hypocrisy keep us from embracing God's will. Faith is necessary to perceive the spiritual truth and discern false teachings.
