The CPSC and Demdaco are recalling Demdaco Microwavable Bowl Holders.  These cotton and linen bowl holders in 27 designs will ignite and burn if left in the microwave for 3 minutes as suggested in the product instructions.  About 56,000 units were sold in the US and 369 were sold in Canada at gift shops, hardware stores, florists, drug stores and pharmacies nationwide and online at Demdaco.com, Target.com, Amazon.com and Zulily.com.  Immediately stop using these bowl holders in the microwave and return the product to the place of purchase for a refund.  You can contact Demdaco at 1-888-336-3226 or via email [email protected] for more information or a prepaid return mailer and the refund.
