Demetrice Lashon Bruno, is an Indiana native and mother of three sons, who furthered her studies to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and a Minor in Psychology and Experience Design from the University of Indianapolis. Her entrepreneurial spirit, come with over twenty years, working in both the for profit and nonprofits sectors which spawned her into a for profit business “TV Greetings 53,” to develop an App, “E Biz Card Live,” Business Consulting for colleagues and CEO and Founder of a ten year nonprofit organization “Redemption Outreach Services Inc (ROSI)” whose mission is to enrich communities, equip nd empower return citizens, at risk youths, and the foster care aged out population, with a special concentration on women and young girls that promote healthy lifestyles, youth empowerment, protection of children and sex trafficking prevention and intervention . Her organization infuses success fundamentals that teach the value of accountability and self-sustainability and sits its organizational structure on a self-sufficiency style of programming that helps yield future success and prosperity. She works tirelessly through her organization to offer stabilization support that strengthen families of inner-city at-risk youth and address youth homelessness through various program initiatives and her involvement with several coalitions. She is an advocate for Justice Reform and her mission is to bring attention to the social injustices within the judicial system by a system re-design and across all social spectrum work to address the disparities as it pertains to the diversity, equity and inclusions with initiatives intended to address inequities against historically marginalized groups
As a certified Life Coach, which aligns with her call and purpose, her goal in life is to improve the live of everyone who interact or cross her path. Leading by example and allowing her life story to be the catalyst of change and personal investment and commitment to growth, with the end goal of improving the quality of each other’s lives. Demetrice was born with the gift of creativity and have a passion for writing which was developed and nurtured by a third-grade teacher, carried on throughout adulthood, and provides a platform that allows her to reach people and positively impact their lives, which adds personal gratification. She looks forward to expanding her reach in the literary world, which currently includes the development of an urban fiction series. which she says is being written strategically to address issues that plague inner city communities and give readers a view into what builds strong community and positively moves the culture forward. Demetrice, credits her success to meditation, prayer, divine purpose and the call on her life.
