Demi Marchese is the founder of 12TH TRIBE, a women's online fashion boutique that sells clothing, shoes, accessories, home decor and more. Inspired by the eleven countries she visited while studying abroad, this 8th Wonder of the World incorporates both fashion and travel. Born and raised in Danville, CA, she knew she wanted to go into fashion by the age of 14. She was on the fashion board at Nordstrom and had her outfits laid out before she would go to school. She attended 2 community colleges before transferring to San Diego State University where she majored in Communications. After graduating in 2014 and not landing her dream job with Nasty Gal, she started 12th Tribe. What started as her selling clothes out of her bedroom grew into her now office in LA where she runs and operates the business. How does she select which products to sell? She goes on a yearly treasure hunt trip where she finds items from around the globe that she knows her customers will love. In this episode Demi discusses the best advice she has to aspiring entrepreneurs is to not compare yourself to others, the strength that she’s most proud of is being relentless, if you’re dealing with any form of  depression do not give up, why being comfortable is evil and the importance of building your tribe. - If you enjoy this podcast, please screenshot and post it to your Instagram Story tagging @DemiMarchese & @PurposeintheYouth!  - Connect with Demi!
