The original YAMAHA PortaSound PSS-480, released in the 80s...
My family had this Synth when I was a young kid, present from our uncle Jamal who's an amazing classical guitarist. It was so beloved by my sister and I, we spent a LOT of time playing with it. I credit a lot of my curiosity with music production due the early experiences of recording yourself and playing with sounds.
Now I'm older (boo hoo) and my kids have the very same keyboard still in great condition, and they love it too! Magic, still going strong almost 30 plus years later. They keep playing the demo over and over and over and over and over until it burnt into my head, so I decided to make my BIG BAND JAZZ arrangement of that demo to give it the life it deserves. Shake it baby X
All parts played by me, Kickass Brass used for the horns, the rest is stock Ableton.
