Following their convention, during which the Democrats affirmed their hatred for, and fear of Donald Trump, Nancy Pelosi demonstrated a new level of hysteria, calling Trump and the Republicans "enemies of the state"! This idiocy goes beyond "party politics", reflecting instead a desperation to protect the failed system of geopolitical strategic confrontations and provocations (e.g., "endless wars"), and neoliberal economics, which deindustrialized the U.S. through radical "free market" policies, and imposed a speculative, casino economy, which benefits only the most wealthy. Instead of addressing the failure of their system, the anti-Trumpers are tripling down on the phony "Russia, Russia, Russia" narrative.
