Today we had the pleasure of introducing the young legend, AP Denim to this community of ours. Denim is a 18 year old kid from Yonkers NY who sadly got his dreams snatched away from him at the early age of 12. Denim was projected to be an elite basketball player & had hopes of attending Stepinac High school to further pursue his dream. Unfortunately those dreams were put on pause September 28th 2019 when he was tragically shot in the neck innocently hanging out with his friends. Denim’s story isn’t over as it has just begun. Since surviving such a tragedy, Denim has released a book titled “Denim Strong” to tell his story and to document his journey really putting his strength to test. Denim has a Great support system as his father Gus and cousin Jae’won accompanied him during his first interview. Watch with an open heart and open mind. Let’s put the guns down yall. Innocent kids were never the target. Tune in as Denim takes his first step in inspiring and healing others who have been through life altering situations. This gets DEEPER than rap!
