It wasn’t hard for Denis to decide he wanted to start a farm- and to listen to him speak, it’s not hard to see why.

Every morning, he could wake up and sing to his plants, watch them grow and swell and ripen, learn how to nourish them, and spend his days nurturing them so that we could all have access to fresh, healthy produce.

 

Except- time after time, he packed his beautiful produce to be transported, knowing that by the time it was sold it would be beginning to turn, that consumers would be paying top dollar for a spoiling product, and that supermarket chains would be cheating him and so many others from their hard-earned income.

 

That could bring out the Ned Kelly in anyone. Australians don’t like to be cheated, or to see their communities and friends cheated either.

 

So, Denis decided to revolutionise agriculture in Australia. He woke up one day and decided to give every person the opportunity to save thousands of dollars, tens of thousands of acres, millions of Litres of water, incalculable carbon credits- and the soul-crushing frustration of buying a soggy lettuce.
