We got to meet Denise (aka tinydbo) at Run Under The Stars . She was a machine and won the women’s race and set a new course record with 66 miles in 10 hours. And by the way she did this only 2 weeks after winning The North Face Endurance Challenge 80K in Costa Rica. Her love for trails and the ultra distances began in 2008. This passion has given Denise both athletic and interpersonal growth. Ultra Running has touched her mind, body and spirit in the unique way that only Ultra Running can do. Combining her love for travel and the trails, Denise feels fortunate to continue to enjoy racing competitively at the age of 47 and is looking forward to many more years of adventuring through racing and running. RUNNING HIGHLIGHTS: 66 Ultras/ 17, 100 mile finishes 2017 F1 Run Under the Stars 10 hour race 2017 F1 The North Face 50 mile Endurance Challenge Costa Rica 2016 Overall Winner Chimera 100 mile 2016 F1 HURT 100 mile 4 x Western States sub 24 hour finisher 2014 Grand Slam Finisher; 4th fastest F combined time 2014 Montrail Ultra Cup F Champion 2013 Montrail Ultra Cup F Champion 2012 F1 Pinhoti 100 mile Denise Bourassa: Coaching Instagram STRAVA Blog Heartland Running: Heartlandrunning.com Facebook Group Instagram Strava Club Save 20% on SWORD Performance Products by using discount code: HEARTLANDRUNNER at checkout Voicemail: 417-319-1060 A special thank you goes out to The Ozark Mountain Daredevils for allowing us to use their music on the show.
