Denominational division is a result of doctrinal change that is created by man.

Man created denominations - and man will teach you why their 'religion' IS the 'religion' for you and why it is better than every other 'religion'.  

Religion is the surface and a relationship with God is the substance.

A relationship with God is based on your knowledge of the Bible, inspired by the wisdom of God, through an understanding of the Holy Spirit.

A relationship with God must include a biblical doctrine based on truth; not the subjective, contextualized, interpretation of man.

***Update - my comments on apologetics (defending the faith) may come across in a way that is different from what I portrayed.  Apologetics is necessary in the process of conversion and for defending the Christian faith when needed.  We should all be ready to defend our faith, biblically.  I only meant that I am not as astute in this area as some, although I believe I can hold my ground.  I believe wholeheartedly in the apologetics movement and that it is absolutely necessary in the Christian faith.

We do NOT believe in a watered-down doctrine, ecumenicalism or that all religions and denominations are created equal.  Do you homework, research what you base your relationship with God on and read your Bible.  There are great resources out there - but you should always, always, always know what you are looking at, reading and listening to.
