Youlanda is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). She has been a  hygienist for 20 years. She has  worked in various aspects of dental  hygiene including working for UNLV School of Dental medicine since 2001.  Within that scope she was a clinic manager for a grant program called  Crackdown on Cancer that focused on tobacco cessation education for  teens throughout Nevada. She has also worked for Seal NV South through  UNLV that provided free sealants to children in Title I schools. Another  program through UNLV that she worked for is the Childhood Caries  Prevention Program CCPP where they provided toddlers enrolled in Head  Start with free fluoride treatments throughout Nevada. Through that  treatment they also provided data to the CDC to help better serve  children in the state.
