You'd think being $2 billion over budget would be the most controversial bullet point in the story of a travel hub and yet the Denver International Airport has been plagued by conspiracy theories since its conception. Stories of hidden messages from the illuminati, underground tunnels & doomsday bunkers beneath the sprawling structure, and even apocalyptic predictions have followed DEN for years. The giant blue demon horse out front doesn't exactly help.
