A better performance from our Blue Demons yesterday. Like I said before, there's good, bad, and ugly. Yes, we blew out Prairie View, but we made a lot of mistakes.

turnovers were our biggest problem yesterday. We had 18 turnovers and they turn 11 points off those turnovers. We couldn't shoot the three ball as effective. It was a drop off from lighting up the basket. We have to clean up on our turnovers. As stated on this podcast, if we clean these issues up, we will win games this year. Also, we couldn't inbound the ball at all. It was a lot of clutter from trying to get the ball in. I didn't like it because those small sloppy plays turn into runs from the other team. Confidence was another issue I saw. Multiple shooters passed up open looks because of previous misses. We have to overlook the misses. We're able to shoot the ball. Keep shooting the ball because they're going to eventually drop.

Enough of the bad news let's talk about the good news. Four plus people were in double digits this game. Made me happy because unexpected people stepped up in big ways. JJ Traynor and Nj Benson both had stellar games. Layden Blocker showed his dominance presence all over the court. He was able to rebound, block, and steal the ball. N.J Benson was another guy who grabbed a lot of boards yesterday. Free throws came easy yesterday. We shot 86% from the charity strike. We let this sit down, so we can think about it.
