With the 'New World Order' in a state of flux under the Trump Administration's foreign policy, who is and what it means to be, a US is rapidly changing. Past allies with the US, such as NATO members, are finding that they can no longer rely upon the US taxpayer to incur the expense of European security. Moverover, US interests appear to be focussed in the Asia Pacific and as such, should US allies, like Australia, be looking to host American Carrier Groups as part of the Asia pivot and containment of Chinese expansionism?
