Selena Gomez shared a tearful video on her Instagram, expressing her sorrow over the deportations initiated under the Trump administration. She apologized to “her people” for not being able to do more. In response, Border Czar Tom Homan stated, “no apologies, we’re moving forward.” The individuals being deported have criminal records tied to sex trafficking, drug smuggling, and violent crimes. The question arises: where is the empathy for the victims of these crimes and why do we want violent criminals in our country?
