In Episode 13 of “In The Front Row with Mike Vaccaro” we’re joined by UFC Middleweight Contender Derek Brunson.  Growing up in Wilmington, NC, Brunson played a number of sports and also cheered competitively.  After wrestling in high school, he received a scholarship from UNC Pembroke where he was a three-time Division II All-American.  After college, Brunson eventually made his way to mixed martial arts debuting in 2010 with the first of his 23 wins.  His hard work and dedication took him to UFC where he debuted in 2012 at UFC 155 and has fought ever since.  Having won his last 5 fights, Brunson is preparing for his next fight on February 12 as part of UFC 271, a fight he hopes will lead him to a title fight this summer.  Brunson shares his story about how “Blonde Brunson” came about, plus his messages to young kids and his many business ventures, including Brunson’s MMA & Fitness in Wilmington, NC.  Brunson also reveals whether or not he plans to fight social media personality and boxer Jake Paul.
