It’s been a couple years already that they’ve been working together, and while Derek wasn’t crushing on Kara in the beginning, he definitely does now. They spend most of their work days in fairly close proximity. They talk and … like… secretly text each other all throughout the day (talking crap about coworkers). They even joke about how much worse the job would be if the other left. But, they’ve never hung out outside of work.
