My favorite thing that Derek said (and there’s a lot of Nuggets in this episode) is the 15 in 6 rule. Your level as a player is where can you give 15 good minutes in a game in 6 months. 😳

Also, he encouraged parents and players to have self awareness and surround themselves with people who will be honest with them about their players development and progress. We all have parent-goggles and there are people who will help you keep them at bay.
