Neat Conversations is ecstatic to welcome Derek Schouman to the show. Schouman graduated from Eagle High School and went on to play tight end for the Broncos from 2003-2006, playing a crucial role in the Broncos 2007 Fiesta Bowl victory. He caught a team high eight passes for 72 yards in the Fiesta Bowl and hauled in the OT touchdown that led to the famous Statue of Liberty play. Derek was drafted in 2007 by the Buffalo Bills where he spent 3 seasons, he also had stints with the St. Louis Rams, the Washington Redskins, and the New Orleans Saints during his career. Today, Derek is back in Boise working as a realtor and a senior firefighter at the Boise Fire Department. Thank you for joining us, Derek!
