Derek Schulte started his post-high school basketball career as a manager on Larry Eustachy’s Iowa State basketball team. As a coach, his practices are a little different, but he had a lot of takeaways from that time. His passion for coaching, and his athletes, is evident by the miles he drove from his home to practice every day early in his career. Enjoy!
