Devin Derico Copeland born February 6, 1992 in Portsmouth, VA is a singer, songwriter and producer. Since the age of 13, DeRico quickly submerged himself in the production process of creating music. Having a natural talent of playing the trap-set at church DeRico developed production skills by listening and learning various musical instruments to create a sound of his own. Completing his first demo at the age of 17 sparked a chain of loyal fans within the Hampton Roads, VA region that led to performing at various talent shows on the United States east coast. Crooning with an updated old school and R&B style, DeRico’s music has emerged into a millennials artistic multigenre playlist. Growing up in a diverse area has inspired DeRico’s versatility in production, lyrics and range to showcase heart-felt records with urban swag. Collaborating with a number of independent artists DeRico’s music paint a picture from the damaged pot hole filled streets of inner city blues to the softest thread count bed sheets of a loving home.
