Mark Hughes is a former professional rugby league player who has tasted success at the highest level – he was part of a Grand Final winning Newcastle Knights team in his very first season in 1997, and helped them win the flag again in 2001.
From the highs of playing the game he loved to the ultimate low of a diagnosis of brain cancer in 2013 – he’s gone on to co-found the Mark Hughes Foundation (with his wife Kiralee). MHF have raised over $24 for brain cancer research and much more.
