Derry Clarke is one of Ireland's much loved chefs and owner of the restaurant  L'Ecrivain in Dublin. He joined Mario today for this weeks profile interview talking celebrity guests, that time a marriage proposal went really wrong in his restaurant and his work with Pieta house.

Derry talks about the difficult time families go through when they loose a loved one to suicide as he says there are no answers. He knows this through the loss of his own son Andrew and finds that the darkness into light walk gives him a kind of healing each time.

Derry is an ambassador for Pieta House a non profit organisation which provides much needed assistance to anyone  experiencing mental illness  and calls on the public to get behind the walk this May starting in Courtown on Saturday 11th May, all details can be found on the below website:
