For the 2023 Advent season, we're exploring a few of the ways that the birth story of Jesus—and the Incarnation itself—overlap with themes of humbleness. The Christmas carol Go, Tell It on the Mountain reminds us that "Our humble Christ was born." How do these themes of humbleness and humility make their way into our lives today. The second message in the series steps into the smallness of the start of Jesus' story. Compared to Mt. Sinai, the Incarnation is a very humble manifestation of God on earth. And, the theme of choosing smallness continues throughout the entire life and ministry of Christ.
