This campaign is our rendition of the Descent Into Avernus book from Wizards of the Coast. This one shot was not in the book, and was written for the purpose of explaining why David And was not in episode 7 at High Hall. Our party is composed of a Aasimar Ranger, Chadwick Morningstar, a halfling cleric, Garret Shorthand, and a Goliath Barbarian, David And. In this campaign we also used the dark secret included in the Baldur's Gate book where the party chooses a reason to already be a group as well as cause more of a challenge and diversify the game from other standard books. The group chose a coup on their Flaming Fist commanding officer, Flint, and shortly after losing a majority of their resistance they realize that the officer has made an escape to live another day and possibly hunt the party down. . The party is made of five people as opposed to the usual four to six for this challenging Dungeons and Dragons campaign so encounters have been given a lesser intensity or removed entirely for the sake of time or to keep the characters alive if deemed as an event too dangerous for the three of them alone.
