This campaign is our rendition of the Descent Into Avernus book from Wizards of the Coast. Our party is composed of a Aasimar Ranger, Chadwick Morningstar, a halfling cleric, Garret Shorthand, and a Goliath Barbarian, David And. In this campaign we also used the dark secret included in the Baldur's Gate book where the party chooses a reason to already be a group as well as cause more of a challenge and diversify the game from other standard books. The group chose a coup on their Flaming Fist commanding officer, Flint, and shortly after losing a majority of their resistance they realize that the officer has made an escape to live another day and possibly hunt the party down. . The party is made of five people as opposed to the usual four to six for this challenging Dungeons and Dragons campaign so encounters have been given a lesser intensity or removed entirely for the sake of time or to keep the characters alive if deemed as an event too dangerous for the three of them alone.
