Veteran Leo McGregor is a happy retired professional and a dedicated volunteer mentor with the Deschutes Veterans Intervention Strategy. The VIS is a Deschutes County-specific program, designed to provide local justice-involved veterans with the opportunity to improve their criminal justice outcomes by helping them address their mental health and/or substance abuse issues that play a role in their criminal activity.

KPOV High Desert Community Radio is a listener-supported, volunteer-powered community radio station that broadcasts at 88.9 FM and online at www.kpov.org. KPOV offers locally produced programs and the most diverse music in Central Oregon.
