Awesome book!
Never fails to deliver.
I am a Assassins creed fan and love Oliver Bowdens books. If you have read any of the other novels it reads very smooth just like his previous work. I have been counting down the days for this title to be released and i must say so far in i am far from disappointed. Anyone who enjoys his work or Assassins creed will highly enjoy this read. I wish when i'm finished i could wipe my memory so i can read it over again like its the first time.
Bowden's Best Yet
I am familiar with the books in this franchise, even more so with the games. While I have been pleasantly surprised by Bowden in the past, particularly in Unity, this book just takes it to the next level!
Bowden's story telling also shines the brightest in this entry. Once again he has managed to capture the atmosphere of the time period perfectly. I was trapped in Ancient Egypt!
I'm optimistic for the game, now that we have s firm based of characters to work with. If there is a criticism from me, it would be that the bar has been set so high now that I'm not sure if it can be reached again. Recommended for fans of the series and anyone who's looking forward to Origins.
Good intro (but unrequired) into Assassins Creed Origins
Bought this 2 weeks before the game was released. The book as a whole was ok - I have never read anything by Oliver Bowden before, and I thought he did a good job overall. His style was a bit different for me, so it took some time getting used to.
Now that I am playing Assassins Creed Origins on PS4, I think the book did a great job serving as a prequel to the game series. Bowden introduces you to the two main characters and it was great to get an intro into their previous lives before diving into the game.
Feeling like a bookworm again
Book is very clean and clear words making pages fly by. I am looking forward to the game that this is the prequel to, 100 pages in and I feel I might finish the book in 1 or 2 days with 382 pages. Easy to catch on to the people the author writes about and easy to get in to the adventures they are on.
