Autumn is awesome for fabulous fashions

From the catwalk to the High Street, Britain’s designers are leading the way in international fashion. Thanks to them, looking fabulous has never been easier. As Autumn/ Winter 2008 approaches, the style savvy are getting ready to snap up the collections from London’s newest and coolest young designers whose collections are about to hit the shelves.

Jasper Garvida is probably best known as the winning designer of TV’s Project Catwalk. Fresh from his triumph on the show, he has taken the core elements of his daring catwalk creations and created an exclusive Autumn/Winter 2008 range for online fashion retailer Oli.co.uk. From simple, sexy white shirts to playful, elegant ruffled cocktail dresses; his clean lines and colour palette of black, ivory, purple and muted greys have come together to create a style statement that’s immaculately chic.

Supermodel-turned-designer Jodie Kidd has also stepped up to the line for Oli, with a very personal collection that combines a rural look with a dazzling splash of urban glamour.

PPQ, London’s hottest design duo have designed a range of achingly cool pieces this season that are bang on trend for Autumn/Winter 2008, think vibrant colours of peacock blue and canary yellow with lace detailing and folk lore cuts all rolled into one.
