From sign language to entrepreneurship to yoga, Renee Kakeraka is an all around driven young woman. In this episode, Renee shares some of her journey as a young entrepreneur and the beginnings of her business, oLIVE Devices. oLIVE Devices started as a simple college project, then turned into her senior thesis, and finally expanded into a business seeking to develop Assistive Technology for deaf and hard of hearing individuals. As a recent college graduate, Renee has found herself needed to re-focus her actions and her goals. Through recent yoga teacher trainings, Renee has been able to slow down and listen to her body, an important awareness for all ages. Renee has experienced that failure is okay and through yoga, meditation, and positive self talk, she is able to move with two feet on the ground.
