Banyana Banyana held on for a tense 3–2 victory over Botswana in their opening match of the friendly Three-Nations series in Atteridgeville on Wednesday.

Reflecting on the performance, coach Desiree Ellis said she was pleased with the result, but highlighted the need for improvement — especially in terms of concentration.
