Desiring the presence of the LORD
Exodus 33:1-17; Psalm 84.
The sWORDed sojourner can do nothing without God! It is in her new nature (now born of God) to desire the presence of her Lord! It is for her better a day in the presence of her Lord than a thousand years anywhere apart from Him. Her very life is sustained by Him, so that her soul longs for His presence because He has made known to her the path of life; and she has come to know that in His presence is the fullness of joy!
I hope that this episode encourages you to seek the face of the Lord.
If you haven't known Him, well, He bids you come! Come, that you may enjoy the presence of Him who is life.
But if you know Him, if you are already sWORDed, then be encouraged to enter His courts daily and He will make you glad.
