Two weeks ago Martin Scorsese stated in an interview that Marvel movies are "not cinema". This week, his longterm friend and contemporary Francis Ford Coppola noted during a Q&A that "Martin was kind when he said it's not cinema. He didn't say it's despicable, which I just say it is."
