- In the story of Christmas and man’s redemption, God had much more in mind than simply winning some sort of cosmic chess match with Satan. His plan was to put things right so we could be adopted into His royal family and be trained to become like Him while we live out our lives here on earth. By learning obedience and taking on the nature of Christ here, we’re really preparing for our role in the next age and for eternity, where we are destined to rule and reign with Him. So, it’s time to get on with it - there’s a lot for us to learn and do.
