Destiny 2’s Season of the Splicer released in May 2021 and like both Hunt and Chosen it would introduce another main character to Destiny’s ongoing story - Mithrax, Kell of House Light, who would finally get both a voice actor and a leading role in a season that was celebrated for its story and featured not one but two controversial villains. Season of the Chosen launched in February 2021 and is widely regarded as a success for Destiny’s seasonal storytelling model and from this moment on the way players and Guardians would see the Cabal would change forever.
