Jesus spoke about the “fall” of Satan. The Old Testament alludes to the devil’s “ousting” from heaven. John’s letter mentions Jesus “destroying the works of the devil.” But what does all this mean, both Scripturally and for us, spiritually and practically? How do we reconcile the Biblical account regarding Satan's demise with the present situation of our world, evidential of his ongoing activity? This is a question that demands our intellectual engagement and a deeper understanding.
