Detour To Your Purpose- (Excerpt from Greyhound To A Cap-N-Gown)

Listen Later

Morning, afternoon, evening whatever the case maybe, Donna here for you personally!

Question: What is the first thing comes to mind when you see that BIG sign  DETOUR?

The definition of detour as a noun is, a long or roundabout route that is taken to avoid something or to visit somewhere along the way.

As a verb it is to take a long or roundabout route. Using it in a sentence as a verb  for example is how I felt about attending Oral Roberts University, "she detoured around the walls".

But the Holy Spirit use the word detour as a "noun" for my "Purpose".  "She made a detour to Oral Roberts University.

Detour's are part of our DNA from the Creator:

Psalm 139:13-15, "For You formed my inward parts; You "covered",  me in my mother's womb".  Covered is better translated "interwoven". That is, the white bones, blue veins, and red arteries are all woven together.

Question: What does that look and sound like?

Right, the DNA symbol - See the Trinity kicked in their own DNA (Divine Noble Anointing) before you popped out, (verse 14 says, " I am fearfully and wonderfully made".) for your purpose!  Verse 15 means "embroidered with various colors", could that be the anointed gifts, talents and  abilities? Ah Yeah!

Now, let's go back to the "detour", which has a purpose too.  It can be found in Ephesians 3:19-20.  Many times, I want to jump right to verse twenty, but the Holy Spirit whispered, "hold up sister girl, check out verse 19, "to know the love of Christ is the essence of the greatest fullness.  All the fullness of God speaks of more than one experience or one aspect of His truth or power.  It points to a broad-based spirituality, balanced through participating in all of God's
