Deuteronomy 30-34 (concluded)

Listen Later

Deuteronomy concludes with the LORD reassuring the children of Israel that He will hear them when they cry out in repentance, and will restore them. The LORD appoints Joshua to lead the Israelites, and the Moses commands the priests to instruct all Israel in the Law every year of release, in the feast of tabernacles. The LORD appears to Moses, bears witness against the Israelites for their stiff-necked character, and gives Moses a song to bear witness against them, and promises vengeance against the enemies of the LORD and of His people. Moses blesses the tribes of Israel by name, each of them, and after having seen the Promised Land afar off, dies in the land Moab, secure in the knowledge that his people will now go in to inherit the land under Joshua’s leadership.
