We each have a unique way we can approach creativity and I have always found comedy to be super interesting when it comes to the creative flow. I personally love comedy, from scrolling and sharing memes to watching stand up or TikTok skits.

Today's guest is Andrew Manning who was raised in Brookfield, Connecticut. He began pursuing stand up comedy in 2014. He moved to New York City in 2017 and currently lives in Queens with his girlfriend and cat. I had his girlfriend, Alyssa, on the show during season one: Creating Comedy as a duo from Across the Country.

Today, we have a conversation on the challenges of having a passion and how to work with an audience when it comes to creating comedy - which to me, still feels like what any entrepreneur has to do with their own business: figuring out what does and doesn't work. It's also so important to remember that our passions and skills aren't just automatic, they are processes that we learn and develop.
