Dr. Li's research focuses on the development of bio-mechatronic systems for gait rehabilitation and mobility assistance applications. His research activities are in the following three areas: (1) energy efficient lower-limb wearable robotic devices for mobility assistance, (2) biomechanical energy harvesting, and (3) ambulatory systems for gait analysis and active surveillance.
